State Science Fair AAPT Prize Winners
Three outstanding Physics projects were recognized with awards at the State Science Fair on April 2, 2005
At the Hoosier Science and Engineering Fair on April 2, 2005, the Indiana Section of the
AAPT again awarded prizes to three outstanding physics projects. The winners were:
Junior Division: Kira Naegeli - "The Effect of Building Variables on Parachute Hang Time and Drifting Distance", Northwestern Middle School, Kokomo - Certificate and $50
Senior Division: Sonal Sadaria - "The Coefficient of Restitution: All Tied Up", Noblesville High School, Noblesville - Certificate and $100
Finalist Division: Emily Drabek - "A Vibroacoustical Study Comparing the Out-of-Plane Motion of Violin Bridges Under Different Boundary Conditions Using Holographic Interferometry", Eastern High School, Pekin - Certificate and $100
